    Traditional Shoulder Strap QD System :

This collaboration brings together the Atlas Packs hiking grade custom fitted hip belt and the Leofoto push button quick connect / detach system. Traditionally this system has been used with a shoulder straps. The collaboration removes the weight of heavy camera gear from around your shoulders and neck and brings the weight down around your hips. This method is much more comfortable, controllable and sure. You are better organized, quicker and better balanced.

The bundle includes a hip belt, magnetic buckle & separate MOLLE panel + your choice of x2, x3, x4 or x5 quick connect clips + your choice of lens feet and/or arca clamp(s).

    The increase in depth means that it's much easier to store gripped bodies in the Athlete Pack, but what about non-gripped bodies and smaller sets of gear. 

    In this photo above, we have an assortment of camera bodies arranged without lenses. As you can see, the depth of the Athlete Pack is still really shallow and works great with the smaller systems and sets.

    **It's important to note the Nikon D850 with an RRS L-bracket 
    attached will now fit in the Athlete Pack.

    CHANGE: Increased Origami Camera Core pocket friction and density.

    IMPACT: Friction is a key ingredient to the way the Origami Camera Core functions. Be sure to test out just how much pop and snap your the pocket has. We made significant improvements to friction and structure with new types of
    foam, the shaping of the foam (also called "skiving") as well as all the
    outer fabrics that connect everything to the pack and frame.

    BENEFIT:Users can expect the Athlete Pack to safely and securely carry heavier loads.

  • ATHLETE ORIGAMI CAMERA CORE (TM)

    Unlike other camera bag companies that design bags with removable inserts in various sizes, also known as ICU's or camera cubes, at Atlas Packs we design our packs with a sewn-in camera core. We rate the Origami Camera Core (TM) in each pack and for 2022 the ratings have been significantly updated. 

    In the Athlete Pack, the top 1of the camera core includes a unique flexible section. This section can be positioned by the user to shift space between the camping and camera section of the pack. Much better than having to buy a bunch of different size inserts. 

    We call our solution the "Origami Camera Core", inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding. Each Origami Camera Core is designed and rated for specific types of camera gear.


    For 2022 the rating on the Origami Camera Core has been given a huge boost. In the Athlete Pack you can shift about 3 liters of space, that's a pretty good amount in real-word terms and makes a big difference in how the pack operates.

    CHANGE: Doubled depth of divider foam from 5mm to 10mm. Add new sizes.

    IMPACT: One of the updates I'm most excited about for 2021 is the new dividers. They are thicker, softer and even more pliable and come in a few new sizes too!

    The other reason I'm so excited, if you currently have an Athlete Pack, you can update the rating of your pack simply by getting new dividers!!

    Please see the section below for why you should get the new dividers and NOT upgrade your pack.

    BENEFIT:Users can expect camera gear to stay even more secure and be able to use fewer dividers. Works for all versions of the Athlete Pack

What's included?

This bundle includes quick connect hip belt clips, an Adventure hip belt and magnetic buckle and a MOLLE panel + You will also add the necessary lens feet / arca clamps.

Can I return/exchange and what's the warranty?

Same as the packs.. 100 days to try and lifetime for warranty. Please full details for returns / exchanges

When will my order ship?

Orders will be shipped in waves. Order by August 15th and your order will ship by Aug 30th.

Can I pay with an Atlas Packs gift card or store credit?

Yes.

Can I use a gift card / store credit and a discount code?

NO -
Gift cards and store credit cannot be used in conjunction with any discount codes. The reason is because gift cards and store credit are only sold as part of promotions and heavily discounted.

There is no way to prevent or block orders that pay with a gift card and use a discount code. Please understand I will invoice you for the difference. Thanks in advance for understanding.

How much is shipping?

The shipping rates will display in the cart - just add your city, state, zip.

How safe is my camera gear?

Your camera gear is super safe and secure. Be sure to make sure the pin is fully depressed and to test the connection each and every time.

I also recommend checking doing occasional checks to make sure all the stitching is still nice and snuck and the MOLLE webbing is secure.

When walking / moving, keep your hands low and around your gear and always always always use a magnetic buckle. The standard plastic buckle is not designed to be used with the MOLLE.
