Let's get into the details...

Organization and Workflow

The Adventure Pack was the first pack we designed. It 2014 and we wanted to hit the ground with a pack designed exclusively for the Professional Photography and Video market. Now as we all know, there are plenty of camera bag companies making camera bags for this slice of the market. And as was true then, and is still true today, none of these companies make camera bags that properly load the weight of all that heavy gear to your hips and provide for proper workflow and access.

Airline Travel and Carry-on

The Adventure Pack excels. Typically camera bags as big as the Adventure Pack have removable camera cubes or ICU's that need to be taken out for overhead storage. The Adventure Pack is small enough at 35L to easily meet carry on sizes. Pack smart and it will always be with you...

Removable Frame

Super easy to remove and reinstall. No tool is needed. Takes less than 10 seconds for either motion. Please note orientation of how the frame curves.

What size laptops fit?

Laptops up to 17" will easily fit. The Adventure Pack has a dedicated pocket for laptops. The pocket is located between the admin panel and front section and accessible without having to unzip the backpanel or unclip the front buckles.

Torso Sized with

With the Adventure Pack go shorter if your are of average weight and between sizes. If you have a medium torso and are broad chested consider getting the large. Please chat with Pro Support for info.

"I loved my Adventure Pack so much that I purchased the Athlete Pack to go along with it! Spending a lot of my time on two wheels adventuring, I'm very tough on my gear and my Atlas packs have thrived at everything I can through at them. I use my Adventure Pack when I'm out shooting wildlife and need my bigger lenses or when I'm on multiday trips and need to pack camera and camping gear. The Athlete Pack is my everyday camera bag that allows me to carry all the gear I need plus a few layers and plenty of snacks. I really like these packs because they don't look like camera bags with expensive gear in them, living in a big city where I often leave my bag in my truck and this matters to me. From the seashore to the desert to the mountains, one of my Atlas Packs is always with me. Feel free to ask me any questions." Andrew Hertel - @andrewjameshertel

" When it comes to my Atlas Pack, it's the go-to for rough terrain and long travels across the globe. This pack is the only pack I trust to keep my gear safe when climbing a multi-pitch or a high alpine route. It's versatility and ruggedness is what is necessary for those long days in the mountains. No other pack has held up to these conditions and the warranty that comes with the Atlas Pack is what gives you the ultimate peace of mind to push your trek a bit further, knowing your gear will be safe. " For years, I actually worked as a gear tester for a major travel blog. I literally tested dozens of packs during my tenure.

The landscape for hybrid photo x hiking backpacks is actually quite narrow and it was not before I tried the Atlas Athlete Pack did I truly feel like I had found the right pack for myself. I lead trips all over the world in a wide variety of climates, terrains, and landscapes - all of which involve trekking or climbing of some kind. If I did not have my Atlas Pack, I truly do not know how I could operate in the field the way I do.

My Athlete Pack delivers the right balance of wearable comfort and support, has enough space for me to have gear for high altitude and long day hikes in cold weather, and gives me plenty of flexibility for my camera and drone set up. In short, I can’t recommend this pack enough if you like wild, rugged adventures and need to carry multiple camera lenses and/or a drone. There is simply nothing better on the market that feels like a proper hiking bag, but delivers as the essentials of a top tier camera bag. Full stop. " Chris Lininger | @off_the_atlas
