New for 2021 >> Hip Belt Sizing Explained
The most important part about finding the right size hip belt is making sure the padding is long enough to cover your hips. If the padding falls short, then the weight of the pack will not properly transfer to your hips.
Choosing the right size hip belt is easy. Start with your pants size. This is the easiest way and works 95% of the time. If you are between sizes, then use the other options. Option (1) is where you measure the full width of your waist staying at hip height all the way around with a tape measure. Or option (2) is to measure the span of your hip, just the length needed for the padding to cover both (end to end) plus a smidge.
If you are between sizes size up.

That's really hard to say, it's such a personal choice. Generally speaking the Adventure belt is considered more comfortable as it offers two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle. The Athlete belt has a single foam layer and is more minimalist.
The Adventure belt is better able to support heavier loads than the standard Athlete Pack belt

This size is similar to the prior XXL hip belt size that was in stock for all pack purchases. If you now need the XL-XXL hip belt please let us know as we will need to add you to this list.
Please only select one free belt. Please do not select multiple free belts and/or other free items. If you are somehow able to add multiple free items to your cart and checkout I will cancel your order. Please consider this as your notification.
Included with the purchase of your pack is a custom fitted hip belt.
