This listing serves as a placeholder for the new GEN2a Atlas Athlete Packs. This design has been approved for production but the fabrics and colorways still need to be sourced and finalized.
When you reserve a pack, you are paying a fully refundable deposit to "hold a spot" and locking in a final price at a substantial discount.

What's new with the Athlete gen2'a'
In 2021 the gen2 Athlete Pack was released. The changes from gen1 to gen2 were fundamental and addressed changes in camera gear as mirrorless gear upsized into heavy and big full-frame bodies and lenses.
This same gear is what we all still use today and this is why the gen2 packs will continue to be made - the new gen2a Athlete offers a bit more space for the bigger size lenses and bodies with L-brackes and include new fabrics and colorways.

1. Cut a piece of string 18"/45.5cm
2. Hold the top to your C7 vertebrae and drop the bottom end.
3. Now feel all the way down to where string ends. It will fall either above or below your Iliac Center (essentially your love handles and where you rest your hands when you are putting your hands on your hips).

PS: If the string goes past your love handles, that means your torso is
shorter than 18" = medium size pack. If the string ends before your love handles, that means your torso longer than 18" = large size pack.

Frequently Asked QuestionsIn the past Atlas bulk production required ordering lab-dipped fabrics in a limited number of colorways on account of the large MOQ.
All of the fabrics I used in the past were have been made into packs and so I have to start over and re-order thousands of yards in limited colorways - which drives up costs significantly.
Today there are new suppliers with ready made stock available to ship globally with short lead times and small MOQ's. While these fabrics cost more per yard they cost a lot less to carry. There are also deals to be had on excess stock (already at the factor but no longer needed) as well as premium recycled fabrics made with waterproof backings free from PFAS.
If you asked your customers to share one thing they love about your brand or product and they say "quality" you know you've done a lot of things right.
The quality and construction of the Atlas ONE will be akin to that of the Athlete and Adventure. These are camera bags first and this requires a different type of construction and design.
Making less costs Atlas less and I'm pass on these savings to you. When you pre-order you are helping Atlas drive down carrying costs and it's why you get a deal.
