K.C. ordered the Athlete Pack in April of 2024

K.C. from Houston, TX OM-1 and Athlete PackK.C. ordered the Athlete Pack in April of 2024

"In reading the other reviews, I didn’t see anyone else commenting on the OM System photography gear. There was one Sony review that came pretty close to showing me that my longest rig might fit. I have to say, I am extremely happy with the results of my images while using the OM-1 and OM-1 MkII bodies with the M.Zuiko 150-400mm Lens. The fact that I was able to bring my OM System to Costa Rica and keep it safe along the way was a game-changer for me." K.C. from Houston, TX OM-1 and Athlete Pack

As I was packing for my first photography trip to Costa Rica, I contemplated which camera backpack would serve me the best. I was also trying to decide which camera system to bring; Nikon or Olympus. Once I realized that the length of my new OM-1 MkII attached to the M.Zuiko 150-400mm lens would fit in the Athlete pack and my OM-1 and other lenses would fit as well, my decision was made. The small origami cube also fit well above the camera cube for my batteries, memory card, and other accessories. The pack was comfortable to carry while transiting the airport and fit nicely in the overhead compartment on the plane. While trekking in Costa Rica, it also held my rain gear, gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, and hat. The removable waist belt was a great feature to have on longer hikes. It was easily removed and stored in my rolling duffle when not in use. It was nice to have everything I needed in one pack, including my tripod and trekking poles, rather than having to carry multiple bags for my gear. The Atlas Athlete definitely is a win-win for me!!!
