The goal at Atlas Packs is simple. To listen and learn and design products that make a different in the lives of working professionals. Hi, I'm @allanhenry, GM and Partner and photographer like many of you.
Over the years I've had the privilege to build and ship thousands of Atlas Packs to happy customers all over the world.
There are two camera packs in our line, the Athlete and Adventure. The price is the same no matter which pack you get and everything you need comes included.
The atlaspacks.com website is setup to make the process simple. Pick your pack, size and parts. There are a number of great bundle options and even free worldwide shipping.
If you need an assist, I'm here to help . We respond M-F to all messages and provide after-hours support on weekends and holidays.

We wanted more space for non-camera gear | Atlas Packs expand to double in liters. The Athlete as shown here is 7" deep and holds about 20L. It will expand 13" deep and pack out to 40L (10 camera / 30 non).

Our design includes comes sized based on torso, has a load bearing frame, overbuilt adjustable shoulder straps and a super comfortable custom fitted let's- go-all-day hiking grade hip belt.
In short, you don't just buy an Atlas Pack, you are building one to your specs and for your gear (both camera and non).
The price of $485 includes the pack of your choice, a hip belt, a rain cover, a full set of dividers and a frame. We also offer bundles which includes parts and accessories.
One of my favorite parts about Atlas Packs is that you don't need to buy different size inserts, cubes or ICUs like you do with camera bags. And because Atlas Packs are packs and not bags, the size on the outside can be expanded to double for when you need to bring more non-camera gear.

Small and mighty. Expands to nearly double in size. The Atlas Athlete is like three camera bags in one. Compressed down at 20 liters, makes a great EDC. Bump up to 30 liters for a day trip, easily fits under a seat. And expand all the way out to easily haul 40 liters and more for extended treks and long overnights. Fantastic for ski, snow and mountaineering. Unparalleled access, weight distribution and organization. Camera gear is safely and securely stored in our patented and award winning Origami Camera Core (TM) that holds from 7-10 liters and is just 6" deep!
It's like having a golden ticket to board whenever you want without fear that you will have to be separated from your gear. Enjoy that last few sips of beer before you board and breeze down the aisles to your seat. Of note, I highly, highly, highly recommend getting the Traveler's Hip Belt...
It's somewhat easy to remove by hand. It's not easy to replace by hand. You will need a tool like a tire iron or crescent wrench to reinstall an Athlete frame. Please note orientation of how the frame curves.
There are a number of differences.
The Atlas Adventure Pack is a game changer for anyone that needs to carry a lot of camera gear and travel. Small enough to squeeze under a seat and also big enough for XL glass like a Sony 600. The Atlas Adventure is perfect setup for scouting missions and expeditions, events and all types of travel no matter the conditions or variables. When compared with traditional Adventure "camera bags", the Adventure "camera pack" is smaller on the outside and bigger on the inside thanks to our patented two-fold Origami Camera Core (TM). Shifts 30-45 liters of space with a simple push and pull.
The Adventure Pack excels. Typically camera bags as big as the Adventure Pack have removable camera cubes or ICU's that
need to be taken out for overhead storage. The Adventure Pack is small enough at 35L to easily meet carry on sizes. Pack smart and it will always be with you... Of note, I highly, highly, highly recommend getting the Traveler's Hip Belt...

The only difference between the medium and large Adventure Packs are specific to torso length.
The connection point where the shoulder harness connects to the top of the pack is 2" lower on the medium Adventure. One of the nice benefits of the Adventure Pack is that you can then adjust the velcro holding the shoulder harness up/down about 2". This makes for great fit!
